International SOS, the world’s leading medical and security risk services company, has signed a Non-Exclusive Provider Agreement (NEPA) with the Egypt Healthcare Authority, Arab Republic of Egypt, to streamline cooperation and partnership in providing healthcare services to International SOS Subscribers in Egypt.
The NEPA was signed on behalf of the Egypt Healthcare Authority, Arab Republic of Egypt, by H.E Prof. Dr, Ahmed El Sobky, Chairman of General Authority of Healthcare and Universal Health Insurance Program and by Kathy Brett, Regional General Manager, Europe Middle East, International SOS, in the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Health and Population of Egypt, and a number of dignitaries and officials.
Under this NEPA the Egypt Healthcare Authority will provide medical services and assist International SOS with the medical care for its Subscribers who fall ill or are injured while travelling, living or working in Egypt. The provision of medical services will be delivered by the network of the newly equipped medical facilities located in six governorates in Egypt: Port Said, Ismailia, Luxor, South Sinai, Aswan, and Suez.
This strategic collaboration between International SOS and the Egypt Healthcare Authority will strengthen and streamline medical care provision for International SOS Subscribers in Egypt.
