A Chinese Oil & Gas company with ten years’ presence in Mexico approached International SOS due to the impact of COVID-19 regulations and restrictions on its local operations and its employees.
Problem
Our client was concerned about local COVID-19 regulations, the rising number of cases within their company, and the lack of physical infrastructure to support medical examinations or provide medical support. Our client needed our help to provide support to their employees during this challenging time.
Solution
With the support of our Medical Director, and other medical experts, we developed a comprehensive solution for COVID-19 management on-site:
- We provided COVID-19 protocols for testing and screening.
- We set up a fully equipped medical clinic in the workplace to provide consultations and medical support to employees.
- We provided health advice to employees.
Our team of medical experts worked closely with our client to understand their specific needs and requirements. Throughout the period employees received high quality attention from our medical professionals, in alignment with agreed COVID-19 policies.
Impact
We carried out over 1,500 COVID-19 tests on their employees, which enabled our team to quickly identify and isolate potential COVID-19 cases, thereby reducing the risk of transmission in the workplace.
