Our annual Risk Outlook report uncovers a Fragmenting World as a key overarching theme for the year ahead. With 65% of surveyed senior risk professionals from our recent survey perceiving that risks have increased over the past year, and 69% predict significant impacts from geopolitical challenges alone in 2025.
Even in the ongoing permacrisis environment, the new research highlights that some of the most significant risks are those for which respondents said they were least prepared, including conflict, geopolitical tensions, and protests
Many of the findings from the report are based on a survey of 802 senior risk professionals across 90 countries. This provides a detailed view of some of the major risks which organizations must address in 2025.
